Accommodations For Travelers

If you’re traveling cross country with your horses, pets and/or hunting dogs and need a nice place to stay as you’re passing through, our horse motel and facilities offer accommodations for you and your entourage all at the same place!

Or if you’re just looking for a quiet, peaceful, picturesque place to spend the weekend with your family, friends, pets or horses, we can do that, too!

Farmhouse

Vandalia, IL

Basic Directions:

13 miles (about 15 minutes) from the Mulberry Grove exit #52 off Interstate 70. Vandalia and Greenville are close to the farm. Both towns offer grocery stores, a large department store and several restaurants. There is a veterinarian in Greenville.

Accommodations for Guests:

Completely remodeled farmhouse is fully furnished with a large, eat-in kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, etc.; 1 ½ baths, living room, satellite television, DVD player, CD player; master bedroom with king size bed;three additional bedrooms, sun porch with day bed and trundle, front deck. Sleeps up to 9. Pets welcome. Big, fenced-in yard for canine guests.

Horse Facilities:

5 stall horse barn with 12x12 stalls and tack room. 3 large paddocks with run-in shelters that will accommodate up to 3 horses per paddock. Truck/trailer parking. BYO feed, buckets, hay and bedding (bedding is available upon request). Wheelbarrow provided.

Rates:

$75 for 4 people; Please call for rates on more than 4 guests
$10 per horse/paddock
$15 per horse/stall; you bed & clean
$25 per horse/stall; we bed & clean

20 miles (about 20 minutes) from Mulberry Grove exit #52 off Interstate 70. Close to Greenville and Vandalia.Or 15 Miles from Interstate 70, Exit 63. Both towns offer department stores, grocery stores and restaurants. There is a veterinarian in Greenville.

Accommodations for Guests:

4 large campsites with 30 amp and 50 amp hookups. Water available on site. Pets are welcome but must be kept tethered or on a leash.

Horse Facilities:

3-stall barn with 12x12 stalls. 3-acre pasture with a large shelter. Round pen. BYO feed, buckets, hay and fork. The pasture and barn adjoin the campground.
